Our Therapists’ Tips for a Glowing Complexion
Massage is key to a facial. If you are unable to pop by the clinic to see us, try some facial massage at home as it’s unbeatable for getting an instant glow. Use your knuckles (held in loose fists) and finger tips to roll, knead and drum life back into your skin – you don’t have to be a pro!
Cleansing is the most important and basic step in your skincare routine for clearer, brighter, glowing skin. Spend 1-2 minutes working with your cleanser in upwards circular movements to clean deep into the pores, focusing on any congested areas with smaller circular motions. And as if that wasn’t enough of a beauty benefit your serums and moisturisers will work more effectively on the skin too.
We love exfoliation for its fantastic skin softening, glow inducing benefits. Sarah has brilliantly taken all the effort out of exfoliating with Overnight Exfoliating Booster. This unique exfoliator contains ingredients such as lactic acid and retinol to gently dissolve the glue between dead cells releasing them for a controlled exfoliation without damaging action on the skin. This will allow your moisturisers to work more effectively on the skin.
We see so much dry and flaky skin at this time of year. Make sure you increase your hydration levels by using a moisturiser high in humectants such as Hyaluronic acid and rich in omega oils. Increase your daily intake of omega supplements, these will increase your skin’s hydration levels helping it to function more efficiently. Our skins get sapped in the heat of the treatment room so we all love slathering on Intense Hydrating Booster and Eye Recovery over our make up throughout the day!
